How to boot Windows 10 in Safe Mode (Using F8 key) - If you can login in windows 10 then its very easy to reboot system in safe mode but if windows gets corrupt and you get not successfully boot windows  10 then you can follow below step to get safe mode using F8 key - 

Step 1 - Use windows 10 bootable USB drive.

Step 2 - Change BIOS setting to boot computer from USB drive or press a key (which will give you option to boot computer from USB drive) to boot from USB . Choose "repair your computer" from below - 

Step 3- It will ask few options, choose suitable options - Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt. 

At the command prompt, enter below commands and restart computer. After this you will be able to boot windows 10 in safe mode using F8 Key. 

 c:

 bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy

exit

Step 4- Now when your computer start keep pressing F8 during the boot process. Once it has been detected, you'll see the boot options menu where you can boot directly in to safe mode:-

In future if you want to disable or reverse this process use following command on the command prompt - 

bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy standard

Now Windows 10 default faster boot will enable and F8 key will not give option to go in safe mode.

MS DOS stands for "Microsoft Disk Operating System. MS-DOS originally written by Tim Paterson एवं बाद मे August 1981 मे Microsoft ने introduce किया था | MS-DOS allows the user to navigate, open, and otherwise manipulate files on their computer from a command line instead of a GUI like Windows.

MS-DOS एक text based/Command Line OS है इसमे यूजर को keyboard से commands  इनपुट देने होते थे व् output भी केवल text format मे मिलता था |  लेकिन बाद मे MS-DOS को simple व् user friendly बनाने के लिए कुछ प्रोग्राम बनाये गए जिसमे mouse एवं graphics को include किया गया | इसको Disk OS ओस कहते है क्योकि इसको जब बनाये गया था तब every time जब भी कंप्यूटर स्टार्ट होता था तब इसको फ्लॉपी डिस्क से कंप्यूटर मेमोरी मे लोड किया जाता था | इस OS को x86 microprocessors वाले PCs के लिए बनाया गया था  |  जिसमे की सभी कमांड टेक्स्ट फॉर्मेट मे इनपुट दिए जाते है

एक टाइम मे Disk OS सबसे ज्यादा use होने वाला OS था | लेकिन इसको धीरे धीरे Windows के ग्राफ़िक OS ने replace कर दिया |

Safe Mode, windows का एक troubleshooting option होता है जो की कंप्यूटर को limited state मे स्टार्ट करता है | जब computer को safe mode मे start किया जाता है तो केवल basic files and drivers लोड होते है | Safe Mode स्टार्ट करते वक़्त computer केवल necessary resources and ड्राइवर्स को लोड करता है | सेफ मोड मे विंडोज low screen रेसोलुशन एवं  third-party startup programs को  load करना  avoid करता  है |

How to Start Computer in Safe Mode - 

• Windows 7 and earlier versions: Press F8 key while the computer is booting, then select Safe Mode in the menu that appears.

•  Windows 8: Hold Shift and click Restart on the Power menu on either the login screen.

•  Windows 10: Hold Shift while clicking Restart on the power options menu from the Start Menu.
