Safe Mode, windows का एक troubleshooting option होता है जो की कंप्यूटर को limited state मे स्टार्ट करता है | जब computer को safe mode मे start किया जाता है तो केवल basic files and drivers लोड होते है | Safe Mode स्टार्ट करते वक़्त computer केवल necessary resources and ड्राइवर्स को लोड करता है | सेफ मोड मे विंडोज low screen रेसोलुशन एवं  third-party startup programs को  load करना  avoid करता  है |

Safe Mode troubeshooting के लिए essential tool है कभी कभी malware या virus से infected computers को safe mode मे boot करके troubleshoot किया जाता है | कभी कंप्यूटर मे कोई buggy drivers or software इनस्टॉल हो जाने के बाद कंप्यूटर normal state मे स्टार्ट नहीं होने पर भी Safe Mode मे कंप्यूटर को बूट करके buggy driver / software को identify करके  disable or remove किया जा सकता है |

How to Start Computer in Safe Mode - 

• Windows 7 and earlier versions: Press F8 key while the computer is booting, then select Safe Mode in the menu that appears.

•  Windows 8: Hold Shift and click Restart on the Power menu on either the login screen.

•  Windows 10: Hold Shift while clicking Restart on the power options menu from the Start Menu.
